Bugs Shaded
These shapes were generated form a book of stencils of bugs. I overlapped them multiple times and then shaded them. I played with negative and positive shapes as I did this. It took a very long time.

Circles Shaded
To begin this one I drew circles using a template. I kept overlapping circles of varying sizes. I shaded some in and then erased lines in different places. To finish I erased even more.
